BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS

All bookings can be made over the phone or at our reception desk. The Beau Monde team will be more than happy to address any queries and help tailor a treatment to suit your needs.

All bookings are subject to our terms & conditions below

If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please allow at least 72 hours notice. We regret that we cannot transfer or refund any deposits for treatments missed or where less than 72 hours notice is received.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES

We advise all clients to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to their appointment allowing you time to relax, complete your consultation forms or book your next visits in the diary. If you are late, we will have to reduce your treatment time, we will try to accommodate your treatment in the time remaining,

However, we may need to adapt the treatment slightly. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment and our cancellation policy would apply.

SPA DAYS

All of our spa days include full use of the leisure facilities, pool, sauna & steam room, and our relaxation room. Use of a robe and slippers along with refreshment drinks to keep you hydrated are available during your visit with us.

TREATMENTS

All of our treatments are suitable for men and women, however we do have treatments to suit more specific needs.

PATCH TESTING

By law we have to carry out patch tests on all tinting treatments for clients who are visiting Beau Monde for the first time. This may be repeated on all clients when different products are possibly used. Hair colour skin tests must be done 48 hours prior to colour application and repeated if the client has not returned for a colour service within 3 months.

WAXING

For clients receiving wax treatments for the first time or have very sensitive skin, it is advised to visit Beau Monde prior to your appointment. We do offer alternative wax for more sensitive skin, please specify this at the time of making your booking. Please avoid all hot water and heat based activities, sun bathing, swimming, and tanning treatments for 24 hours after waxing.

TANNING

It is advised to wear dark loose clothing for all tanning treatments, and avoid all water and heat based activities, sun bathing, swimming, and waxing treatments.

PEDICURES

To get the best results from your pedicure we recommend wearing open toe shoes to apply after your pedicure. Please feel free to bring your own choice of nail colour although prices will not be altered for this option.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS & ALLERGIES

Please inform Beau Monde of any medical conditions or allergies that may perhaps affect any treatments from being carried out-this is for your safety. We are more than happy to discuss your medical concern over the phone or in private, we take this very seriously and feel rest assured that we put your safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.  Working in line with the Data Protection Act we ensure all consultation cards are kept locked away and are only accessed by you and your therapist.

PREGNANCY

For you and your baby’s wellbeing we do not carry out treatments in the first trimester. For a list of available treatments during pregnancy, please call our Beau Monde team for more details.

UNDER 18 YEARS

We only carry out a selection of treatments with a parent/guardian present. please speak to our Beau Monde team for further details.

RULES & NOTES OF GUIDANCE

SWIMMING POOL, SAUNA AND STEAM ROOM

All guests must report to the Leisure reception point on arrival and sign in. On leaving the premises, guests must sign out.

Guests may be asked to give their name, the lead booking name and name of their accommodation to a member of staff.

Only recognised swimwear may be worn in the Pool Hall and its facilities, shoes are not permitted including pool shoes.

Personal belongings should be placed in the lockers provided in the changing room. Please note – Valuables are left at your own risk; Stablewood Leisure do not accept any responsibility whatsoever.

The Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Jacuzzi are open to our guests during the days and times as advertised, with adult only sessions at the specified times.

Under 16’s not allowed in the Sauna or Steam Room.

The facilities may be unavailable at times, for cleaning and other essential tasks at the sole discretion of Stablewood Leisure

Do not enter the Pool Hall until the opening time. This is to give time for water testing/treatment and other essential tasks.

The Leisure club facility closes at 8.00pm, all guests must vacate the leisure facilities at this time. The building closes at 8.15pm. This allows guests to use the showers and changing rooms before the building closes.

Individuals who are competent swimmers can use the pool unaccompanied.

Children aged 12 or under must be accompanied by an adult swimmer (2:1 ratio max). The adult must be in swimwear and remain in the Pool Hall for the duration of their swim. They must not use the Sauna, Steam Room or Jacuzzi whilst the child is in the pool.

To maintain our high standards of water quality, please shower before using the Pool, Sauna, Steam Room or Jacuzzi and re-shower if returning to the Pool after using any other Pool Hall facilities.

Diving, jumping or throwing is not allowed, nor is the use of inflatables, balls, flippers or snorkels. Small inflatable rings are allowed as a flotation aid only.

Our staff will stop any activities or behaviours which are considered to be inappropriate or dangerous to the individuals involved or other guests, and this may result in the termination of your pass

Shampoo, soap, fragrance oils or body lotions are not permitted except in the changing rooms.

Sauna and Steam Room users must not use any scented oils or similar.

No glass or breakable containers are permitted anywhere in the Pool Hall.

We reserve the right to withdraw from use, any facility for essential maintenance at any time.

FITNESS SUITE

Persons aged 13 and over can use the Fitness Suite facilities subject to 5 & 6 below.

It is mandatory that all Fitness Suite users know how to operate the equipment competently and safely, and read and understand the user instructions before operating the equipment. If in doubt, DO NOT USE

It is the guest’s sole responsibility to ensure they do not injure themselves or other users. Stablewood Leisure accepts no responsibility whatsoever

Only gym wear and clean non marking shoes are permitted in the Fitness Suite, no outdoor shoes allowed.

A member of staff will stop any activities or behaviours which are considered to be inappropriate or dangerous to the individuals involved or other facility users, and this may result in the termination of your pass.

Please be courteous to other facility users and avoid spending long periods of time on one piece of equipment during busy times.

It is recommended that you bring a small towel with you to sit on whilst using the equipment and it would be appreciated if you could wipe the equipment after use, using your towel or other cleaning products provided

No food, glass or breakable containers are permitted anywhere in the Fitness Suite.

Guests must not adjust the TV or any of its setting, please see a member of staff.

BOOKING YOUR LEISURE, FITNESS OR ADULT ONLY SWIM PASS

To benefit from the VIP Club discounted rates your membership fees must be up to date.

VIP Club members can book their sessions up to 7 days in advance direct with Beau Monde.

Session slots are allocated on a first come first served basis, subject to availability, so early booking is recommended.

Guests can hire luxury quality 600gsm cotton towels at £2 each, Bathrobes are also available to hire at £5 each, subject to availability. Alternatively, you can bring your own towel suitable for use in the spa.

CHANGE/CANCELLATION POLICY

Bookings can be changed or cancelled 3 days in advance without penalty subject to availability.

Bookings changed or cancelled within 3 days strictly  subject to availability only & will forfeit the no refundable deposit.

No shows forfeit your pass, with no refund.

CAPACITY

In order to maximise guest experience and comfort, we do limit numbers.

MEMBERSHIP

Members can cancel their membership at any time.

Membership fees are non refundable.

The membership list is reviewed every 3 months.

Members are reasonably expected to purchase and use Leisure passes a minimum of 6 times each quarter to continue to benefit from the reduced rates

Members not doing so can have their membership renewal declined.
